Dear Big 12 Colleagues,

Welcome to the 2012 Big 12 Development Conference website! KU Endowment is looking forward to serving as your host. This year’s theme, Sustaining Success, reflects all of our efforts to continually try to work more productively with less and to grow our success with a smaller footprint.

As a result of input from the CEOs during the 2011 conference, you’ll find this year’s program to be more focused on development. The main feature will be a workshop presented by Advancement Resources that will be appropriate for all attendees, followed by smaller, targeted group activities and plenty of networking time with your fellow counterparts.

In line with our sustainability theme, we are implementing some changes aimed at being “greener.” These include fewer printed materials and the elimination of registration bags. And, plan for a slightly expanded Tuesday evening event that will include a Kansas City-style dinner at Boulevard Brewery, a local business with a commitment to recycling. We hope you’ll join us —transportation will be provided!
